Meet some of the friendly TeamMed Wollongong Doctors
Graduated in 1994 from the University of Jordan, then started working in Rural Tasmania from 1997 until 2004. He achieved his Fellowship with RACGP and has a total general practice experience of 15 years. Dr George’s special interests are cardiology, diabetes, weight management and paediatrics.
Graduated from the University of Jordan in 2006 and has practised medicine in Australia since 2009. He worked in Wollongong Hospital, Shellharbour Hospital, Shoalhaven Hospital, and Milton Ulladulla Hospital. Munther takes special interest in general medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, psychiatry, and dermatology. In addition he has full certification from USA and has obtained a Diploma of Dermatology from the Australian Institute of Dermatology.
Dr Mohannad El- Roubaei has been practicing medicine in Australia since 1999 working through different hospitals. He started his general practice work in 2004. He has special interest in chronic disease management with a special qualification in Diabetes treatment.
Dr Faris is a general practitioner with special interest in psychology, psychiatry and medical research.
Dr Catherine Ko graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2010. She worked at Royal Perth Hospital, King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women and Princess Margaret Hospital for Children before moving to the east coast and working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the Royal Hospital for Women. She has a special interest in women’s health and antenatal shared care. She has obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a Diploma in Child Heath.
Dr Noha Mahanna is doing a rural term and will be back in the Wollongong practice in 2019
